POLYUREA TRAINING & EDUCATION
Polyurea is not a product, it is the term used to describe a technology. In basic terms a MDI (isocyanate) is reacted with an amine terminated resin resulting in a urea linkage. This urea linkage repeats hence the term 'poly(meaning many)urea'. Pure polyurea contains zero catalyst and zero hyroxyl moieties in the resin blend. Polyurea is processed and dispensed using special plural component equipment at strict operating parameters. It is therefore essential that applicators are fully trained before attempting to apply polyurea to avoid costly failures and tarnishing the technology. Poly-Flex polyurea can only be applied by certified applicators who have been trained by Inseal Polymers.
